This year’s Hazel Crest Thanksgiving Giveaway offered a meaningful reminder of what public service looks like when action meets purpose. Vasselli Law had the privilege of partnering with Hazel Crest Mayor Sandra Alexander to support families who needed a little extra help heading into the holiday.

Community Impact of the Hazel Crest Thanksgiving Giveaway

On November 25th, Hazel Crest hosted its annual Thanksgiving Turkey & Gift Card Giveaway at the President’s Ballroom in Village Hall. Residents lined up throughout the day to receive turkeys, holiday staples, and $50 gift cards to ease the financial pressure of the season.

Vasselli Law donated $5,000 in gift cards to Hazel Crest families — no raffles, no qualifiers, no complicated process. Just support, directly into the hands of the people who needed it most.

Mayor Sandra Alexander led the effort with heart and purpose, ensuring every family walked away with dignity, care, and one less worry this Thanksgiving.
